So I just realized that I haven't posted anything for over a year!
This means that I now have to go over my entire year in one post.
AHH!!! Be prepared kids - this could be crazy.
January - April: My 3rd semester of school at BYU-I. School,
homework, roommate drama, the works...
May - July: 4th semester. Changed apartments and had awesome
roommates. For one of my classes we got to go to the Oregon Coast
for a week and got to go crabbing. SO MUCH FUN!!! My family also
got to go back east for 2 weeks to do a US History Vacation. Totally
awesome. New York, DC, Philadelphia, and tons of other cool places.
Busch Gardens was BOMB! So basically, I missed 3 weeks of school and
my teachers were totally cool with it. I know right? How awesome
are they?! LOVE my major and my professors!
August - October: I was able to do my internship in Jackson Hole at
a shop called Floral Art. Totally awesome experience! Pretty sure the highlight of my internship was the $12,000 wedding I got to do. No
lie - $12,000!!! I'm gonna be ridiculously rich someday. Promise. It's
gonna happen. I got to live in an apartment all by myself (having an
entire fridge to yourself is the greatest experience EVER! Seriously -
you gotta try it sometime) Also, it was unfurnished so I got to sleep
on an air mattress. A folding table and chairs made my kitchen area
and luckily my grandparents had a couch I could use.
Typical poor college student - no big deal.
October - December: Moved back to Rexburg to take a 2nd Block class.
LOVE my roomies Katie, Diana, Holly, Felicia, and Sharla! (roomies:
smile as you read this cuz its totally true!) I've also been working at
Floral Art in Idaho Falls which has been ... interesting ...
From Jan.1 to Dec. 31 2011 I will have moved 8 times. Pretty sure I
have it down to a science. Need any tips? Give me a call, I got
you covered.
So basically that has been my year. Totally boring right? I know. Parts
have been pretty darn sweet but lets face it, most of it was enough to
put you to sleep. No worries - I understand completely. Happens to
me too - and I'm the one living it!
